Guided by a Board of Trustees and led by an Executive Committee with three sub-committees (Membership, Programme, Partnership), AWE integrates economic prosperity, social needs, and environmental impact through innovative business models and cross-sector collaboration, to showcase how purpose-led enterprises can drive a well-being economy where responsibility ignites, collaboration unites.

Hong Kong is uniquely positioned to lead the well-being economy as a global financial hub with a vibrant SME ecosystem. The Association for Well-being Economy (AWE) serves as a Proof-of-Concept (PoC) Platform that fosters deep collaboration and valuable connections between Greater Bay Area enterprises and international markets. It facilitates business model innovation and sustainable transformation, shifting enterprises from GDP-centric metrics to Gross National Happiness (GNH).
AWE aims to create impactful corporate exemplars, reinforcing Hong Kong’s position as a “Super Connector” and “Super Value-Adder.” This underscores Hong Kong’s competitive edge in innovation and ESG integration, solidifying its role as a bridge between China and ASEAN, and advancing human and planetary well-being through tangible actions.
